The first break-in was reported on February 5th. It happened around 10:30 PM. Police think the house was targeted specifically. Later, another burglary happened at the same house.
This second break-in was on February 6th, around 9:45 PM. Nobody was home either time. Nothing got stolen. Sadly, two dogs got hurt the second time.
Police showed up and investigated. Then, on February 7th, they made arrests. They arrested a 42-year-old man from Garston. He’s suspected of burglary and animal cruelty.
A 20-year-old Garston man was also arrested. Police think he did both burglaries. Also, he may have hurt the dogs. They suspect he had a weapon, too.

Police want to reassure the community. They increased their presence where people can see them. Officers also talked to people living nearby.
